Raining....

While most of you are freezing away, I have the a/c on for my son, who needs it to sleep. Waking up hot just isn't enjoyable.

But I heard thunder. Thank goodness, the noise WILL STOP. If you can only imagine, I have construction going on all around me. And these folks...yes they start EARLY...like think 7am. WAY before I even want to think about getting up. Yuck.

Nothing new is going on. We did go to a few places this weekend, with my husbands friend/collegue from England. It was a good time, lots of eating out and with a 9 month old...it's a bit harder these days. He doesn't sit in the highchair. And he won't sit in your lap. But put him on the floor and he's like a puppy...zooming around as fast as he can.

I have a friend thats not doing good. He's in the hospital. I grew up with him and his sister. I'm not a praying kind, but I'll be sending him lots of get well soon vibes. He's been there a week and they aren't sure whats wrong with him. They are working on it, but its hard when your not sure whats going on. They emptied out a can and a half of fluid from his lungs and think he might suffer permanent lung damage. He's in his 30's.....scary stuff.

So for all of you freezing...I'm sorry, but I'm sweating over here. But now the rain has REALLY started..I hope it cools off!!
